O’Hanlon Center for the Arts was founded back in 1969 by Ann and Dick O’Hanlon, artists who lived and worked on this very property tucked into the sacred redwoods of Mt. Tam. The center carries on their legacy of creative discovery with a diverse studio arts and lecture schedule, as well as monthly exhibitions in their spacious galleries.
Join me for class and check out the creative, woodsy vibe. It’s a magical spot~a perfect setting for mandala making!

Mandalas are contemplative tools for moving between the inner and outer experience — they serve as a link between worlds. When you make a mandala, you resonate with the essence of your deepest self and the collective spirit. Drawing mandalas can restore a feeling of peace and calm, while imparting an innate understanding of the mysteries of the universe. Instructor will cover concepts behind mandalas, with plenty of time for creating a personal piece and group discussion. Art materials are available for use, but you’re encouraged to bring your favorite art media. Come to one or both sessions, as each class is an ongoing exploration of expressive discovery. No art or drawing experience necessary. Advance registration is encouraged.
