My 6-page article about George Ehling’s visionary mosaic and bottle environment (George Ehling Mosaic House) in Los Angeles is included in the SPRING 2015 Issue of UK-based Raw Vision Magazine Number 85. Additionally, my 10-page essay with exclusive photos by Auda & Coudayre, of the George Ehling Mosaic House is set for publication this spring with British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM) annual journal, ANDAMENTO issue #9.  Raw Vision is THE premier publication for international visionary and outsider art. We’ve so been looking forward to this and the timing coincides with the upcoming tours.

We are hosting TWO TOURS on Saturday March 14th  and Sunday March 15th 2015 at the house, with 87-year-old George Ehling as our colourful host, and you can book tickets HERE via Eventbrite.

Ehling, 87, has been tiling his home with intricate patterns of recycled tile and glass bottles for over 45 years. His colorful life stories embellish and entertain, as we will tour the magnificent Mediterannean-style mansion’s exterior facades and captivating interiors, influenced by Roman, Byzantine, Medieval and Islamic ornament. The George Ehling Mosaic House has been featured in a recent Jennifer Lopez video and Forever 21 fashion shoots. See the Facebook page for more photos.

Additionally, my 10-page essay with exclusive photos by Auda & Coudayre, of the George Ehling Mosaic House is set for publication this spring with British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM) annual journal, ANDAMENTO issue #9. The photographers specialise in photographing CASTLES, and I was thrilled with how they handled the challenging scope of the assignment. The journal is a peer reviewed collection of some of the best scholarly writing on mosaic related subjects you will find.
