Unwind, hands,
you angel webs,
unwind like the coil of a jumping jack,
cup together and let yourselves fill up with sun
and applaud, world,
applaud.
~ Anne Sexton (1928–1974), U.S. poet. “Two Hands”

Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.
How timely. I finished the first of four hands for a large mosaic – today. Hands are so familiar to us, but for an artist, so difficult to depict. These tell so many stories. Thanks LS!
thanks Julie, hands seem to be in the “air” today. I thought these hands were so expressive, and they ARE the hardest thing to draw! look forward to seeing your mosaic hands!
POWERFUL!!! Thank you, Lillian. Such a reminder that the hands are radials of the (spiritual) heart center.
how wonderfully said Kate, thanks for sharing your insight
